Born in the Western suburbs of Sydney, the rebellious urge was in YUUSEF since a young age. Always choosing to be behind the camera, during this time YUUSEF decided to play around with recording. Learning from early Kanye West, Drake, The Weeknd and PARTYNEXTDOOR; they set the foundations on how to tell a story through music. Once introduced to the new generation of artists paving the new lane on soundcloud, their style of fusing different genres really resonated with YUUSEF. Using everything he’s learnt over the years and with the help of his circle, YUUSEF strives to create music for the "rejected youth". He strives to build a cult fan-base of people that, like him, don't agree with the social norms. Wanting to give people hope through relatable music, through captivating visuals and to take them on his journey with him.
The skys the limit, and he’s not settling for anything less. This is YUUSEF and this is where his story begins.

INFERNO - EP
“As reality starts to fade and you begin to descend, your fate has never been so clear.”
“inferno” follows the narrator as he begins his journey into the abyss. Coming to terms with the consequences of his actions, the dark intro builds anticipation for his punishment to come. With eerie melodies and heavy drums throughout the project, the listener is taken to the depths of the self-induced hell the narrator is experiencing. Reaching the halfway point, “I.D.T.I.M.I” is the peak of journey. This is where the narrator’s alter ego has been awakened, hence the harshness of the vocals and bass punching hook. Reaching the end of his travels, “in their eyes” is the narrator becoming aware of his tendencies. Aware of the effects of his self-destructive actions. The slower pacing, emotional vocals and melancholy melody portrays the acceptance the narrator is beginning to have of his circumstances, ready for what is to come.

The blistering sound on this track is what you get when you mix emotionally driven lyrics, thumping drums and killer vocals. From Sydney, Australia, the glue that brings all this together is yuusef’s desire to make the kind of trap/rock music that inspires the youth. It’s a straight up emo trap song meant for people to belt out the chorus too.
FALLEN
Fusing elements of trap and punk-rock, yuusef demonstrates on “FALLEN” what he offers to the scene. Using emotionally charged lyrics over heavy kicks and rumbling bass, yuusef gives insight into the duality of consciousness and with brutal honesty, holds hardly anything back. “FALLEN” is the perfect release to set the tone for what’s coming next.
